Montserrat

Three weights, replacing a Roboto drift

01 — Starting point

What the site got wrong.

The homepage spent its height on very little information, so visitors scrolled past the fold for content that could have been visible right away.

Type had also drifted into Roboto in places, off the brand's Montserrat. I resolved layout and hierarchy on paper and in mid-fidelity before applying any visual language.

More visible without scrolling — and one typeface again, not two.

02 — Redesign: Home

Illustration that matches the product.

Illustration was replaced with a style matching what the product actually does.

Every breakpoint was designed — desktop, tablet, mobile.

Site map before and after: four levels and duplicated pages, then one level below five main sections

03 — Redesign: Blog

Reading at length.

The carousel was extended to the edges of the screen, with the index split into two columns — recent posts on the left, search and most-read on the right. Inside a post, line length was narrowed and line spacing increased.

05 — Applications

Off the site.

Promotional graphics for the App Store and Play Store — fixed dimensions, and they have to land in about three seconds while someone scrolls a listing.

Vertical video ads and social posts, produced in-house alongside the site.

Year dropdowns listing documents, one year expanded

Question dropdowns for long-form content on the Enade manual page

06 — System

Structure before surface.

Layout and hierarchy resolved on paper and in mid-fidelity before any visual language — then one typeface and one palette, applied across every page.

Typography

#BB393D — a distinct color for the new modality

Consistency

One typeface, one palette, across every page.

04 — Redesign: Locadoras

A page for a new business line.

OmniCar opened the platform to rental companies, a different audience from drivers. The page uses a distinct CTA color to separate the new modality, and is built around a single conversion: the partner enquiry form, restated at the top and the bottom.
